TNR Cement Bricks Pvt Ltd manufactures solid cement blocks and interlock paving blocks engineered for strength, precision, and finish. Produced at our Madampe plant with controlled mixes and full curing cycles, our blocks are trusted across Sri Lanka for residential walls, driveways, walkways, and industrial yards.

Our solid cement blocks give builders a strong, consistent alternative to traditional brick for boundary walls and structural masonry, while our interlock paving blocks — available in Uni, Cobel, and Eliyana patterns — turn driveways, patios, and commercial forecourts into durable, attractive surfaces without the maintenance that comes with asphalt or poured concrete.

With colour options in natural grey, red, charcoal, and yellow, and thicknesses of 60 mm for pedestrian areas or 80 mm for vehicular and industrial loads, we can match the right block to your project. Free delivery is available within 25 km of our plant, with wider distribution through our dealer network.

Wall block estimator

Enter your wall dimensions. Assumes a 10 mm mortar joint on all sides.

How it's calculated

Wall area = length × height

Block face with 10 mm joint = (0.39 + 0.01) × (0.19 + 0.01) = 0.08 m² → 12.5 blocks per m²

Blocks = area × 12.5 × (1 + wastage%)

Mortar volume = wall volume − block volume ≈ 7.4% of (area × block thickness), plus 33% extra as dry volume

Cement (1:5 mix) = dry mortar ÷ 6 ÷ 0.0347 m³ per 50 kg bag

Sand = dry mortar × 5 ÷ 6

Interlock pavers are laid on a compacted sand bed — no mortar needed.

How it's calculated

Blocks = area × blocks-per-m² × (1 + wastage%)

Uni / Cobel cover ~50 per m²; Eliyana ~100 per m².

Bedding sand = area × 0.05 m (compacted 50 mm sand bed)

Yes. We offer free delivery within 25 km of our Madampe plant, with islandwide delivery arranged through our dealer and logistics network for larger orders.

A standard 1:4 or 1:5 cement-to-sand mortar mix works well for solid block masonry. For interlock paving, blocks are laid on a compacted sand bed without mortar, then jointed with fine sand.

Our blocks are cured for up to 28 days before dispatch to reach full design strength, so they are ready to use as soon as they arrive on site.

Yes. Standard colours are grey, red, charcoal, and yellow. Custom pigments are available for an additional cost of approximately Rs. 5–8 per block, subject to minimum order quantities.
